ESnipe Reviews

2nd Place Goes to Auction Sniper

Auction Sniper was the first to get the critical eye of review. When all was said in done, they stood in 2nd place above the other remaining esnipe services we reviewed.

Navigating their site was fairly simple to do as they had all of the features that you needed all in one place.

We found that Auction Sniper does support bid groups, even though using the bid groups was rather awkward.

They force you to create you bid groups in advance instead of being able to create them as you go as other esnipe services do.

The pricing did seem to be fair because you pay as you go. You pay only 1% of the final auction price. The minimum amount you can pay is $0.25. The maximum you pay is $9.95.

This seems to be a fairly common pricing plan for esnipe services. as you should pay a flat fee for all snipes as it is not costing them more if you have to bid a higher amount.

Search Features

Auction Sniper does provide search features so you can look for items on eBay.

You can choose to add searches for specific items then run them yourself, or have them automatically run. They made the options available to both perform and automate anything from a simple basic search to a more advanced complicated search.

After you perform the search, you can snipe or watch an auction item from the search results page. If you click on the item link, it will open a new window to eBay so you can look at the auction item in detail.

Bid Groups

However, sniping the auction while adding it to a bid group was not an available option. We discovered that you have to create the bid group before you place your bid, or else you won’t be able to make use of the bid groups.

Other esnipe services allow you to create the bid groups on the fly, so there is no complicated bid group management process for you to use as you do with Auction Sniper.

This usually is not an issue as the big group creation process was very easy to do.

Navigation

Navigation was one of the reasons that Auction Sniper took 2nd place. They seemed to mix non-sniping links in with the links you use to manage your account and snipes.

This made moving around their site a little odd, but once you got use to it, things were very easy to find.

Conclusion

Auction Sniper was a good esnipe service and is rated highly among its users according to Alexa.com.

Auctionsniper.com is still definitely an excellent esnipe service to consider. They have all the critical features required to find that auction items that you want, and get those items at the price you want.

They pulled this off without over complicating the navigation of the site, even though there is still room for improvement in this area.

If you don’t want to download any tools and install them on your computer, this just might be the esnipe service for you!
